Overview
RemindCam is designed with privacy in mind. The app processes images and extracts expiry dates entirely on-device. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data.
Data We Do Not Collect
- No account or sign-in is required.
- No photos are uploaded to our servers.
- No personal identifiers are collected.
Permissions
RemindCam requests the following permissions solely to provide app functionality:
- Camera: Used only to scan expiry dates via photos you take.
- Notifications: Used only to send reminders for upcoming expiry dates you set.
Children’s Privacy
RemindCam is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided data, please contact us so we can remove it.
On-Device Processing
Image scanning and recognition happen locally on your device. You may delete items at any time within the app. Deleting the app removes all stored data.
